Keyway with shaft, screws to fix the plum blossom body, torque transmission and position compensation, suitable for multiple transmission fields
Structure composition :
It is mainly composed of two metal claws with convex teeth and a plum blossom-shaped elastic body. The metal claws are generally made of aluminum alloy or 45# steel, connected to the shaft through a keyway and fixed with screws. The plum blossom-shaped elastic body is mostly made of polyurethane plastic and placed between the two half coupling claws.
Performance characteristics :
Shock absorption and buffering: The plum blossom-shaped elastomer can effectively absorb vibration and impact, reduce noise and vibration during equipment operation, protect connected equipment, and increase the service life of the equipment
Compensation deviation: It can compensate for radial displacement, angular displacement and a certain degree of axial displacement between the two shafts, adapt to installation errors and dynamic deformation of the shaft system within a certain range, and ensure the stability and reliability of the transmission system
High torque transmission: It has a large torque transmission capacity and can meet the power transmission requirements of various mechanical equipment. The allowable torque value will change with the temperature.
High rigidity and stability: compact structure, high rigidity, can maintain good stability when transmitting torque, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of power transmission
Good wear and oil resistance: High-strength polyurethane elastic elements are wear-resistant and oil-resistant, suitable for some working environments with oil pollution and wear risks
Electrical insulation: It is resistant to grease and has good electrical insulation properties. It can be used in some equipment that requires electrical insulation.
Fixing method :
The coupling is fixed to the shaft using a combination of keyways and screws. The keyways are used to achieve circumferential positioning of the coupling and the shaft to ensure the accuracy of power transmission. The screws are then used to firmly fix the coupling to the shaft to prevent axial displacement and loosening during operation.
